E-mail sent to
any e-mail address which I list publicly go directly to my personal
assistant. It is their job to determine if an e-mail should be
forwarded to me or if it is something that can be handled without me
having to be involved.
If your e-mail is rude, spam, or asking for help with your homework or
research it
will most likely be deleted without a response.
To ensure that your e-mail is responded to please keep the following in
mind:
When "cold calling" an individual you have never met and never
corresponded with, it is proper
etiquette to state how you found them, what your name is, and why you
are contacting them.
You should be as brief but detailed as possible (I know this sounds a
bit like an oxymoron, but do try). Please state clearly what it is that
you want and if appropriate why you believe I can be of assistance.
You should be polite and make efforts to use somewhat proper grammar
and spelling (typos do occur and I am very understanding of this).
If you are attempting to contact me because you would like to license
my work please see my page on licensing my work.
If you are attempting to contact me because you would like to purchase
my work please visit my store (Squid
Tarts, launching by October of 2008) to find assorted pieces and
prints I have for sale.
If you would like to interview me or show my work in your gallery
please contact my assistant and they will inform you of the next step.
All mail should be sent to assistant@studiomorningstar.com
Please allow five business days for a response (business days excludes
weekends and Japanese holidays). If you have not received a response
within five business days please feel free to send your inquiry again.
I would truly love to assist each and every individual that contacts me
but if I did I would not get anything else done. I hope that you
understand.
For correspondences of a personal nature my private e-mail address is
currently not available due to the limits of my schedule.
